I am a ceramic artist from the small city of Zion in the northern part of Illinois. I threw my first pot on the wheel at 11 years old and haven’t looked back since. I used my newspaper route wages to buy my first pottery wheel in the 9th grade and started throwing in my parents old coal room in the basement. The need to create is a part of who I am and my passion for pottery can only be matched by my love for the Lord and my family. I hope my work will speak for the passion and enthusiasm I hold towards pottery.

I offer a wide range of hand-crafted goods, from mugs and spoonrests to jewelry dishes and decorative fairy homes. My products are all made with a gorgeous hazelnut brown stoneware clay and are designed to be both beautiful and functional. I‘m always looking for new ways to add a touch of whimsy to my work!

I enjoy both hand-building and wheel throwing, and I use a blend of both in my work. I’m especially drawn to the soft, pliable quality of hand-built pieces, and I try to let those subtle, handmade impressions shine through. I love picking up a piece of pottery and knowing a real pair of hands shaped it. There are so many potters creating beautiful work, and I hope to add something unique and meaningful to that community.
